Antonio Agnesi is Associate Professor at the Dept. of Electronics at the University of Pavia since 2000, where he is head of the research staff of the Laser Source Laboratory. His professional interests are in the field of diode-pumped solid-state lasers (especially ultrafast sources) and applied nonlinear optics. His contribution to these research fields are documented by more than 140 papers on technical journals and conference proceedings. In 1998 he helped start Bright Solutions S.r.l., a spin-off from the Laser Source Laboratory bringing together highly qualified professional skills in the field of industrial and scientific laser technology.
